A Word from our Founder

After a fantastic first year in Stamford I was very excited to begin planning the second addition of the festival. I have been inspired by the reaction from the people of Stamford, who have given such support and encouragement, more than I could have hoped for. We have a new home, Stamford Arts Centre which will host the majority of our concerts along side the beautiful Browne’s Hospital perfect for the more intimate recitals.

Alongside firm favourites of chamber music, this year I have challenged myself, the musicians and perhaps the audience also by programming a few more unusual composers and underperformed works.

One of the best aspects of the festival for me is being able to make music with such fantastic musicians and great friends, I cannot wait for you to be introduced to all eleven of them. It is such a privilege to explore these incredible pieces of music and perform them in a place that I love, the same town where my musical education begun over 20 years ago. Enjoy!
