Late Night Schoenberg – SIMFestival 2022
The second of SIMFestival’s seven 2022 concerts is one not to be missed. Often considered Schoenberg’ s most celebrated work, ‘Verklarte Nacht’ was composed in 1899 when he was just 25, the same age as many of the performers in this concert!
Beethoven, Schubert & Arensky – SIMFestival 2022
Schubert’s unfinished trio composition is rounded out in this evening concert by Arensky’s Second String Quartet, probably his best-known work and a musical tribute to Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No.9 in A Major.
