Our joyous festival finale ends the festival as we began, with an eclectic mix of great chamber music. The first half pairs the wit and exuberance of Françaix with the magic of Fauré's Piano Quintet No.1. Strongly influenced by French impressionism, Frank Bridge's Sextet, composed over six years between the ages of 26 and 33 (the average ages of our festival musicians), gives a fitting end to SIMFest 2023.
Friends of the festival will have reserved front row seating. To join the Friends SIMFestival visit https://simfestival.com/
