After a 20 month forced hiatus, it gives me enormous pleasure to bring you news of our upcoming concerts and 2022 festival.
Although being unable to hold the festival for the past two years has been so sad, I’ve used this strange time of quiet to plan for the future of our Festival. Our 2022 programme is my favourite to date and I look forward to sharing it with you next year.
For now though I am delighted to present you with our December concerts.
Our December Concerts
This December I will be joined by eleven brilliant colleagues for not one but two winter concerts.
The first concert, held on 10th December at Stamford Arts Centre, will be a real celebration with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, A minor Violin Concerto for two Violins & Bach Double Violin Concerto.
The second concert, held on 21st December at St Martin’s Church, brings something entirely different. One of my favourite pieces of chamber music, Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night paired with the joyous Mendelssohn String Quintet No.2.
As always your support is greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing many of you back in Stamford soon.
